Olic joins Munich's injury list for six weeks
Munich - Ivica Olic is the latest casualty in Bayern Munich's attack, with the German Bundesliga club announcing on Monday that the Croatian player is sidelined for six weeks.
Munich said that Olic is nursing a calf muscle injury which he sustained during national team training last week.
Olic, 30, joins Dutchman Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery of France on the sidelines at Munich.
Bayern still have Germany forwards Mario Gomez and Miroslav Klose, Italy's Luca Toni and youngster Thomas Mueller available up front, but are scoreless in the last three competitive matches and ranked a modest eighth in the league ahead of Saturday's date at SC Freiburg. (dpa)
