Islamabad, Nov 13 : Pakistan’s Interior Ministry has said it has credible intelligence reports that terrorist groups and various other extremist elements are out to target former premier Benazir Bhutto and there is a real threat to her life.

Ministry spokesman Haved Iqbal Cheema today said at a press briefing that the government was taking exceptional security measures to ward off the threat and ensure her safety.

Cheema further said that the house arrest on Benazir would stay for at least seven days, adding that overall 3000 men were arrested in view of the law and order situation in the country, The News reported. (ANI)
