The Adnan Sami-Sabah marital discord just got murkier. And Pakistan’s prime minister and president are now in the loop of the crisis.

On Thursday morning after the stories about the ugly pow-wow between Adnan’s dharma patni and Pooja Bedi appeared, Adnan Sami received his first death threat .

And Adnan has spoken to the Pakistani prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani about the threats.

Much tamasha had been happening publicly in the Sami household since the last few weeks over Adnan's father's visit to Mumbai for treatment as his wife filed a police complaint allegedly over his visit. Adnan's father Arshad Sami has been suffering from cancer for a long time now and had refused to go to London for his treatment and wished to meet his grandson instead. Adnan, heeding to his ailing father's request had asked his son to come down from Pakistan to meet his grandfather. Adnan Sami's son Azaan flew down from Pakistan to Mumbai to visit his ailing grandfather.

Pakistani singer Adnan Sami has won the property case against his wife, Sabah Galadri.

Sabah pleaded in the court that Adnan together with his parents should be evicted from their five-flat residence at Lokhandwala in Andheri.

But, the petition has been dismissed by the Mumbai High Court.

Adnan’s lawyer Vibhav Krishna said, “The HC order clarified that the family court has jurisdiction over matrimonial disputes involving foreign nationals.”

According to rules, a foreign national needs permission from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) before purchasing immovable property; it has also been made mandatory for the registrar of stamps and stamp superintendent to make sure that a foreigner has a certificate or a no-objection certificate from the RBI before registering the property.

Pakistani composer-singer Adnan Sami purchased eight flats-two in Lokhandwala (Andheri west) and six in Sky Garden (Oshiwara)-between 2003 and 2005 without taking official permission.

Mumbai, Jan 31 : Singer Adnan Sami is ashamed about his wife Sabah filing a police complaint against him for abuse, and termed the incident as the "most humiliating moment" of his life.

He has denied her allegations, saying that he is incapable of violence.

Sabah had registered a non-cognizable offence at the Oshiwara police station on Friday, accusing her singer husband of mental and physical torture.

A police official said that Adnan was summoned to the police station on the grounds of the complaint and was warned against any misbehaviour with his wife in future.
