Arshad Warsi was left pleasantly surprised by the response he got from his fans when he was shooting for his home production Kaun Bola in the US. Arshad encountered many a fans walking upto him and complimenting him on his performance as Circuit in the Munnabhai series. But what left him stumped was a lot many of these fans were non-Indians.

Five Hindi films released over the Friday gone by - EK SE BURE DO, COFFEE HOUSE, PAL PAL DIL KE SAATH, SCHOOL DAYS and ROYAL UTSAV. As expected, all the five films have proven to be disasters at the box office with pathetic collections all over.

The first half of the year 2009 shall be always remembered as the worst in terms of content for the Bollywood films released in this period. Arshad Warsi perhaps for the first time is experimenting with his looks for any film. For Vishal Bharadwaj’s forthcoming production, Ishqiyan being directed by Abhishek Chaubey Arshad shall be seen in a role that he has never attempted before. Our unit sources reveal that since he plays a guy off the streets he has been made to look suitably dark.

The splitting up of the couple was in the air for quite some time though now the better half of Maria is claiming that everything is fine between the two.
