London, Dec 24 : Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson is not pregnant with her second baby, her spokeswoman confirmed.

There were rumours that Hudson was expecting again just four months after giving birth to son David Jr. with her fiance, David Otunga, reports starpulse. com.

Hudson's representative Lisa Kasteler has brushed away all these rumours, insisting that there is no truth to the claims and instead of preparing for a new arrival, the star is preparing for a busy working year ahead.

"Contrary to what has been falsely reported, Jennifer Hudson is not pregnant," said Kasteler.

Johannesburg - Oscar-winning US actor Jennifer Hudson said she was honoured to be chosen to play Winnie Mandela in a film about the controversial ex-wife of South Africa's first black president, Nelson Mandela.

The biopic entitled Winnie will be shot on location in South Africa next year by local director Darrell Roodt.

"I was compelled and moved when I read the script," Hudson said in a statement issued Friday by Ma-Afrika Films, co-producers of the film with Canada's Equinoxe Films.

Washington, Nov 18 : Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson has been roped in to play the lead role in a new film ‘Winnie’, which is about the former wife of South Africa’s first black president, Nelson Mandela.

The film will be directed by Darrell J. Roodt and the production will begin on May 30 in the South African locations of Johannesburg, Capt Town, and the Transkei and Robben Island where Nelson spent 18 of his 27 years in prison.

The script is based on the Anne Marie du Preez Bezdrob biography “Winnie Mandela: A Life.”

The show sponsored by Netflix will taken place on September 29, and it will conclude with a screening of the new-look film.

The Grammy award-winning singer gave birth to son David Daniel Otunga Jr. on Monday.

"The baby is beautiful and perfect. His parents are ecstatic," People magazine quoted Hudson''s rep Lisa Kasteler as saying.

Throughout the duration of her pregnancy, Hudson refused to confirm or deny that she was an expectant mother.
