The leading couple of My Name Is Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Kajol won accolades at the 56th Filmfare Awards and took home awards under the categories of Best Actor Male and Female respectively.

Though, the critically praised Udaan bagged the Filmfare awards, taking home 7 awards accompanied by Dabangg pocketing 6 black ladies.

Udaan got the award for Best Film (critics), and Arbaaz Khan won the best film award for Sallu-Sonakshi starrer Dabangg.

Karan Johar bagged the Best Director award for his mega-hit flick My Name is Khan.

The recipients for the country's second highest civilian award the Padma Vibhushan has been given to the Telegu star A. Nageshwar Rao. The 86-year old has made more than 250 films with most bringing him great awards. The Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri Awards have been announced and the list is quite awesome with many Bollywood celebrities getting to be a part of the coveted list of recipients.

Daughter of veteran actress Tanuja and late Bengali film producer Shomu Mukherjee, Kajol entered the Hindia film industry with Bekhudi in the year 1992 at 17.

However, Kajol relished commercial success with her second flick Baazigar and later there was no looking back for her.

The 35-year-old has given huge hits including Karan Arjun, DDLJ, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, K3G and most recently My Name Is Khan.

The year 2010 has been quite a sizzling one as far as the sizzling of on screen couples is concerned. Despite having many on screen couples making a comeback this year on screen again, the top three have been SRK and Kajol, Aishwarya and Hrithik and Akshay and Katrina.

Kajol had really taken Bollywood by storm with her acting prowess. However at the peak of her career she decided to bid goodbye to the arc lights to settle for matrimony. Kajol got married to Ajay Devgn in 1999. In between she did couple of movies, though she hardly shared screen space with her hubby Ajay Devgn. However this time they are both back together in `Toonpur Ka Superrhero'. The movie hits the theatres on Dec 24 and is a thorough entertainer for the kids. `Toonpur Ka Superrhero' is also the first 3D animation combination feature film.

Mumbai, Dec 16 - Kajol, who will be seen with husband Ajay Devgn on screen after a gap of two years in the animation film "Toonpur Ka Superhero", says the two cannot team up often because they hardly ever like the same script.

"Ajay and I will always take years to be together on screen because we hardly ever agree on a script. We actually don't agree on most scripts," Kajol, 35, told IANS in an interview.

As per fresh reports, the mother-daughter pair Tanuja and Kajol will share screen space after 18 years.

Last seen in Kajol's debut film Bekhudi in the year 1992, Tanuja will replicate her act as Kajol's reel-life mom in 'Toonpur Ka Superhero', what is hyped to be the country's first live animation movie.

Moreover, the film will also see the hit jodi of Ajay and Kajol together after 'You Me Aur Hum'.

Even though Tanuja is playing a small part in the flick, her character is an important one.

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn and Kajol have been blessed with a baby boy this morning. Lord Ganesha has showered his blessing on this auspicious occasion of `Ganesh Chaturthi'. The couple has a seven year old daughter Nysa, and the newborn is their second child.

Recently, Kajol's movie We Are Family was released in theaters and it got quite a mixed response. She went on maternity leave after shooting for this movie.

Ace Bollywood actress Kajol delivered a healthy baby boy today.

Kajol and Ajay Devgan tied the nuptial knot in the year 1999.

As per family sources, the baby was born at 9:20 a. m. this morning at Mumbai-based Lilavati Hospital.

The actress, who is basking in the success of her newly released KJo's flick "We Are Family", already had a seven-year old baby girl, Nysa.

New Delhi, Sep 13 : Bollywood star Kajol gave birth to a baby boy Monday morning, seven years after her daughter Nysa was born.

Kajol and Ajay Devgn got married in 1999.

Kajol, who recently featured as a doting mother in Karan Johar's "We Are Family", gave birth to the child at 9.20 a. m at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, a source close to the couple told IANS. (IANS)

By now it is an established fact that Kajol goes out of her way for friends. To no one’s surprise she defied doctor’s orders on Friday and braved it to a suburban theatre to watch ‘We Are Family’ because she had promised her friends producer Karan Johar and director Siddharth that she would.

Says the emotional director, “That’s Kajol for you. A true friend! She’s going to be a mother and she’s a month away from delivery. She wouldn’t have done this under normal circumstances.”

Mumbai, Aug 25 - One of Bollywood's finest actresses, Kajol says she was not keen to do "We Are Family" because it had a first-time director. She also believes being a mother in real life made a difference to her body language in the film where she is shown to have three children.

"Definitely. I think you always have doubts while working with first-time directors and it's very sensible to do that," Kajol, 35, told IANS in an interview about her latest film helmed by Siddharth Malhotra.

Mumbai, Aug 24 : Kajol doesn't believe in rakhi as she feels "bonds are made from the heart". And the actress says filmmaker Karan Johar is more than a brother to her.

"The definition of a friend is somebody you choose and not somebody you are born with really. I think Karan is my friend for centuries and generation and lifetime I feel. I always felt that connection with him. He is more than a brother. It's a unique fantastic friendship that I am very grateful to have in my life," Kajol told IANS.

Besides impending motherhood, Kajol has just celebrated her birthday and her husband Ajay Devgn has just had a big success in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. "Don't you think I've trained him very well?" her voice sparkles with mischief, pride and pleasure when told that she has a hand in Devgn's makeover.

As motherhood approaches again Kajol is not praying for a son. She is equally enthused by the idea of another girl child in her family. "I'm just hoping for a healthy happy baby and a healthy happy mama to look after the baby. I've a wonderful daughter. How can I say no to another girl just like her? I don't believe I need a son to complete my family. My sister Tanissha and I made quite a complete family. And so did my mom
(Tanuja) and her sister (the late Nutan)."

Mumbai, Aug 10 - Actress Kajol, who is expecting her second child, is not praying for a son. She says she is equally enthused by the idea of having another girl child in her family.

The actress has a daughter with actor husband Ajay Devgn.

"I'm just hoping for a healthy happy baby and a healthy happy momma to look after the baby. I've a wonderful daughter. How can I say no to another girl just like her? I don't believe I need a son to complete my family. My sister Tanissha and I made quite a complete family," said Kajol.

Though Kareena Kapoor is Siddharth Malhotra's cousin, but getting her into the film We Are Family was not an easy affair.

Says Siddharth, "Kareena's grandmother Mrs Krishna Raj Kapoor and my grandfather actor Premnath are sibings. So I've known her from my childhood. We've practically grown up together. When I went to Karan Johar with the idea of remaking Stepmom I told him that Kajol and Kareena were my first and last choices. Karan not only got me the remake rights, he also got me the two actresses".
