Kathmandu, Sept 10 : Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday expressed hope that the government’s policies and programmes reflected the aspirations of the people from all walks of life.
He said this while talking to journalists after the announcement of the government’s policies and programmes at the Constituent Assembly (CA) in Kathmandu, Dahal claimed that the government’s annual programmes would be implemented.
Kathmandu, Sept 9 : Nepali Congress has urged the government to set a national agenda to be taken up during Prime Minister Prachanda''s India visit scheduled early next week through comprehensive discussions.
Kantipur quoted Nepali Congress leader Dr. Prakash Saran Mahat as saying that the government should call an all-party meeting to decide the national agenda. The Prime Minister during his bilateral talks with India should take up issues finalized through the all-party consensus.
He also said that there should be detailed homework on revising the Nepal-India Peace and Friendship Treaty of 1950 and other agreements and a common position of all parties should be developed.

Kathmandu, Sept 5: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias ''''Prachanda'''' will visit India on September 14.
Prachanda will arrive in New Delhi on September 14 and return back home on September 18, nepalnews quoted Nepal Ambassador Durgesh Man Singh in New Delhi, as saying.
This will be his first visit to India after becoming the first elected Prime Minister of the federal republic Nepal.
However, he has already broken a tradition by traveling north to China to attend the closing ceremony of Beijing Olympics on his first foreign visit as a PM.
