Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's loving hubby Raj Kundra has planned a surprise trip for his newly-weeded wife on her birth anniversary on June 8.

An ecstatic Shilpa wrote on her blog, "Glad Raj is back to celebrate my 1st birthday after marriage on the 8th of June. He has instructed my manager to keep 7th, 8th, 9th free to surprise me with a break (Yes, he's full of surprises! He's made arrangements for a trip but I have no idea where to... too sweet, all very exciting)."

The hot couple Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra is ready to hit the Indian newspapers and British tabloids once again.

The news is that Shilpa has chosen the 'House of Commons' in London as the location for her grand wedding reception, which will take place this week

This comes as a big news as the 'House of Commons' is not only iconic but also has a position in the modern history of the great republic of Britain.

The sources said that Keith Vaz, a Parliamentarian, is assisting the pair in getting all the arrangements done to make the function a very significant one.

London, Jan 5 : The British parliament, down in the dumps over a long-running expenses scandal, is set to brighten up to a touch of Indian glamour Wednesday when it hosts a wedding dinner in honour of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra.

The dinner at the House of Commons is to be hosted by Keith Vaz, Britain's longest serving MP of Indian origin, and is expected to be attended by prominent British MPs and ministers led by the Leader of the House of Commons and Equality Minister Harriet Harman.

Mumbai, Nov 25 : Who''s who of Bollywood and eminent personalities of fashion, cricket and politics attended the lavish wedding reception of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and London-based businessman Raj Kundra in Mumbai.

Shilpa married Kundra in a "fairy-tale wedding" at a glittering ceremony in Khandala, a beautiful hill station in Mumbai on November 22.

Bollywood hottie Shilpa Shetty tied nuptial knot with her long-time boy friend Raj Kundra on Sunday (Nov 22).

The much-awaited weeding took place at Shilpa's best friend Kiran Bawa's farmhouse in Khandala.

The wedded pair took promises in presence of their near and dear ones.

A source said, "At around 2.30 pm, Shilpa and Raj had a traditional Mangalorean pooja, which takes place before the wedding. It was attended by both their families and close friends."

Mumbai, Nov 18 - Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra will move into a new place in a high-rise in front of the Bachchans' residence Jalsa in Juhu after their marriage Nov 22.

The apartment, owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani, is a temporary arrangement as the couple's dream nest isn't ready yet. Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan's interior designer wife Sussanne is busy doing up their house in Juhu; they will shift into their own home in February or March.

The actress is happy that Raj has decided to move his base from London to Mumbai.

Shilpa Shetty is leaving no stone upturn in making preparations for her wedding as well other ceremonies as she wants to make each occasion a memorable affair. She will be getting married with fiancé Raj Kundra on November 22.

Before her wedding, sangeet ceremony will be held on November 21 in Khandala where family and close friends will pay a dancing tribute to the couple.

Shilpa Shetty’s wedding date is fixed. She will be marrying Raj Kundra at her friend Kiran Bawa’s Khandala bungalow on November 22.
