London, December 20 : The face off between French President’s wife Carla Bruni and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown''s spouse Sarah may not happen soon.
Things turned sour between the two when Bruni posted an unflattering pic of the British First Lady on her website.
However, France’s premier may not have her wife alongside him in his next visit to 10 Downing Street.

London, October 4 : Sarah Brown is reportedly drawing plans for her own political career after her husband Gordon steps down from his post of British Prime Minister.
The former PR executive was said to have a discussion regarding her speculated political ambitions during the couple’s recent stay at Balmoral.
Laura Lee, the chief executive of Maggie''s, the charity of which Sarah is patron, said she was not surprised at the reports.

The Browns, Obama and wife Michelle joked and air-kissed to show that the US-Britain diplomatic relationship is still alive.
The Brown-Obama meet comes as a surprise following reports that 10, Downing Street had failed five times to arrange talks between the leaders.

London, July 11 : Sarah Brown might belong to a nation of avid meat-eaters, but the wife of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown twice declined eating veal during official receptions at the G8 summit in Italy.
The PM's spouse has long been against the way calves are reared in crates, and kept in the dark to ensure their meat is white.
Veal, a popular dish in Italy, featured twice on menus for the spouses of G8 leaders during the three-day summit in L''Aquila.

London, July 09 : British Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s wife Sarah exhibited her fashion consciousness by changing her outfit three times in a day during the G8 summit.
She was first snapped at Heathrow Airport in a light beige skirt, black cardigan and flamboyant necklace before flying to Rome with her hubby, the Sun reports.
However, when she landed, she was wearing a black open-necked dress.
And then, a few hours later, she was seen in a red, white and dark blue skirt and white blouse chatting to US President’s wife Michelle Obama.

London, May 07 : Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has joined British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's wife Sarah in a campaign to stop women suffering injuries in childbirth.
Geri, who has a daughter, Bluebell, two, has urged countries to strive for better health and midwife services.
The 36-year-old also called for every woman to have a birth attendant and emergency obstetric care.

London, Apr 10 : Sarah Brown has become the latest member of the microblogging site `Twitter'.
The British Prime Minister's wife has opened the account under the user name "SarahBrown10".
Sarah, who has almost 800 followers, and is herself following more than 700 people, is using the website as a platform to spread the word about the Million Mums campaign, of which she is patron, reports The Telegraph.
The campaign aims to encourage greater awareness of the health of mothers around the world who are dying during pregnancy or childbirth.

London, Mar 4 : British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's wife, Sarah, has gifted clothes from the high street chain Top Shop to U. S. President Barack Obama's daughters.
On her visit to the White House, Sarah talked to US First Lady Michelle Obama for more than an hour.
She personally handed over the gifts to the President''s daughters Malia, 10 and Sasha, 7, reports The Telegraph.
The girls even received children''s books by British authors from the Prime Minister''s wife.
