Washington, October 27 : U. S. Republican presidential candidate John McCain has said that one-third of the clothing and accessories worth 150,000 dollars, purchased by the party on for his running mate Sarah Palin and her family, have been returned.
He insisted that the clothes would be donated to charity after the election.
London, Oct 26 : Bitter infighting between advisers to John McCain and his running-mate, Sarah Palin, has exploded into public view, with McCain supporters accusing her of being a “diva” and her own faction warning that they would not let her take the blame if the campaign suffers a heavy defeat.
Anonymous briefing and counter-briefing on Saturday suggested Governor Palin is “going rogue” and blaming many of the campaign’s senior advisers for her own plummeting poll ratings, the Independent reported.

London, Oct 25 : Sarah Palin, the Republican Party vice-presidential nominee for the US elections 2008, has failed in her aim to keep beluga whales off the endangered species list.
According to a report in New Scientist, the US government has added beluga whales in the Cook Inlet in Alaska to the endangered species list.
This is despite Palin’s efforts as state governor to prevent protection for this population being boosted.
