Washington, Jan 21 : Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire has been signed on to produce big screen adaptation of Marcus Sakey's crime novel `Good People'.
The Spiderman star is also the frontrunner to play the male lead role.
The novel tracks the tale of a couple in debt from several rounds of futile fertility treatments who think their problems are solved when they stumble upon money found in their deceased tenant''s apartment.
Melbourne, November 3 : Tobey Maguire, who rose to fame with his role as Peter Parker in the Spider-Man films, has been signed on for Spider-Man 4 and 5 too.
The 33-year-old actor is set to work with director Sam Raimi, who too has been roped in for the future instalments, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Though the plot remains unknown, Maguire will be shooting back to back for the two movies much like the ‘Lord of the Rings’.

The movie is a remake of Susanne Bier's Danish-language war drama, and revolves around a man, to be played by Maguire, who is sent to fight in Afghanistan while his black-sheep brother, to be played by Gyllenhaal, cares for his wife and child.
