New York, July 29 : Actor Tobey Maguire's mother and younger brother are set to become reality TV stars, it has emerged.

Wendy Maguire will star alongside Weston, 15, in reality series called `Growing Up Maguire'.

To be produced by Bob DeBrino of `Find Me Guilty' fame, the series will apparently show how Wendy, a single mother, sacrifices to shield her children from the downside of the entertainment industry, reports the New York Post.

And Weston, who rides motocross, skateboards and snowboards, will provide plenty of action.

Washington, July 13 : Tobey Maguire is going to replace James McAvoy in the forthcoming romantic comedy `The Details', as the latter has left the project.

According to sources, the `Spider-Man' star will be sharing the frame with Elizabeth Banks and `Pushing Up Daisies' star Anna Friel.

"Maguire''s a global name and it will have helped them secure the finance they couldn''t get with MCAvoy," Contactmusic quoted a source as having told Scottish tabloid the Sunday Mail.

Washington, July 8 : Tobey Maguire is set to star in an indie black comedy entitled "The Details", which is to be helmed by director Jacob Estes.

The Spider-Man actor will share the screen with Elizabeth Banks in the project that tells the story of a struggling married couple, who are further plagued with problems, thanks to ravenous raccoons burrowing under the sod in their back yard.

Washington, July 04 : Actor Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer have named their newborn son Otis Tobias.

The Spider-Man star’s representatives have confirmed the child’s birth, People magazine reports.

No explanation was provided for naming the kid Otis, but the baby’s middle name of Tobais is the formal version of the actor’s first name.

Otis, who was born on May 8 this year, is the couple’s second child, the first being their 2-year-old daughter Ruby.

Spider Man star Tobey Maguire has a reason to smile after becoming a papa for the second time in his life. According to America’s Life and Style magazine, her jewellery designer wife Jennifer Meyer gave birth to a baby boy on Friday (08May09).

Maguire's spokeswoman confirmed the couple was expecting a little brother or sister for their two-year-old daughter Ruby late last year (08).

Washington, May 9 : Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire and his wife, Jennifer Meyer, have become proud parents of a baby boy.

This is the second child for the couple.

The good news came on Friday.

"I can confirm the Maguires had a baby boy today, and the family is healthy and happy," People quoted rep Kelly Bush, as saying.

Maguire, 33, and Meyer, 31, are also parents to daughter Ruby, 2 1/2.

The couple fuelled rumours that they were expecting a baby boy, when they were spotted shopping for ‘blue’ baby accessories.

They were seen shopping for a blue-coloured crib, sheets, clothes and other baby accessories in Sherman Oaks, California.

"Jen seemed really excited about shopping for everything,” Contactmusic quoted an onlooker as telling Star magazine.

Washington, Mar 28 : Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire has been roped in for a new film on rival Grand Prix drivers titled `The Limit'.

The Spiderman star will not only act, he will also be producing the film under Maguire Entertainment.

Maguire will play Phil Hill, who went against his good friend and Ferrari teammate Wolfgang von Trips in the 1961 Driver''s Championship, reports Variety.

The film is based on a book by Michael Cannell that will be published this fall by the Hachette Publishing division Twelve.

The Spiderman star is also the frontrunner to play the male lead role.

The novel tracks the tale of a couple in debt from several rounds of futile fertility treatments who think their problems are solved when they stumble upon money found in their deceased tenant''s apartment.

London, Nov 23 : Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire is set to welcome a second child with jewellery designer wife Jennifer Meyer.

Meyer, who gave birth to the couple’s first daughter, Ruby, in 2006, is expecting a second baby in the spring (09), reports the Daily Star.

Rumours have been making rounds since April (08), when Maguire''s rep was forced to deny a U. S. tabloid story suggesting Meyer was pregnant.

The rep said, "This is 100 per cent false."
