Whitney Houston cancels her Europe trip because of illness

Singer Whitney Houston was forced to postpone her entire Europe tour because of her illness. Currently, she has developed illness in her upper respiratory tract and has been advised by her doctor to get complete bed rest and not sing.
That is why she had to shift whatever handful of dates that were there for her Europe trip. She was supposed to perform on Thursday and Friday at Manchester, England.
The dates have now been shifted to June 16 and 17. This was revealed on the website where her trip schedule was published.
Whitney Houston to croon on DWTS Finale

Washington, Nov 17 : Whitney Houston is all set to croon on the finale of Dancing with the Stars to be held next week.
An ABC spokesperson confirmed that the 46-year-old singer/actress would perform on the Nov 24 finale, reports Us mag.
Only a month ago Whitney had revealed that her daughter encouraged her to sing once again.
She said that when Arista Records mogul Clive Davis called her to make her an offer, her daughter told her to go through with it.
Houston said that Davis called saying “It’s time for you to come back and sing for us.”
Whitney Houston is Russia bound

The latest buzz is that RnB star Whitney Houston is heading to Russia to play a pair of wintry shows in December.
The songstress will perform at the Moscow Olympiyskiy Stadium on 9 December (09) and at the fabled Ice Palace in St. Petersburg three days later.
The two dates are part of Houston's first global tour in 11 years. Her last Russia performance was in 2004.

London, Oct 19 : Pop diva Whitney Houston's comeback appearance on The X Factor was marred by a wardrobe malfunction with her dress.
Houston, 46, was clearly annoyed as she struggled with a loose strap on the long silvery dress she wore during the live performance of her new single `Million Dollar Bill'.
The six-time Grammy winner, backed by a troupe of male dancers, pulled a face when she realised the strap was sticking out.
She later joked about the malfunction in an interview with host Dermot O'Leary.

London, Oct 12 : American singer Whitney Houston is all set to make her first major UK tour after more than a decade.
Houston, 46, who will also sing on The X Factor on October 18, will be playing five arena dates in April.
“This is my first full tour since 1999,” the Sun quoted the diva as saying.
“I cannot wait to perform songs from my new album along with favourites,” she added.

The singer will perform for the UK TV, her first time in 12 years, on October 18.
"It should be a fun night. I am a fan of Simon Cowell''s and look forward to meeting him," the BBC quoted her as saying.
Whitney will also release her comeback album ‘I Look To You’ the day before her performance on the show.

Houston, 46, revealed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey how Brown, 40, cut her out of family photographs, and that her “crazy love” for him led to her cocaine and marijuana abuse.
She revealed that she tried to be the perfect wife and, for a long time, she and Brown “fought hard (and) loved hard”, but she struggled to deal with her ex when he drank and became “mean”.

New York - Troubled soul diva Whitney Houston apologized for her spotty vocal performance in her first live show after a seven- year absence marked by a messy divorce and drug allegations.
Houston sang four songs Tuesday in Central Park for the TV show Good Morning America. The concert for some 5,000 fans came as she prepares to release her new album, Just Whitney.
Even on stage, she acknowledged that she wasn't at her old best as she missed some notes and sounded somewhat sore.

Instead of singing live, the singer's performance will be pre-taped the day before.

It is said that AEG Live is on the brink of signing Houston and Williams to fill some of the 23 dates Jackson was to perform in early 2010, reports the Independent.
Jackson''s This Is It tour at the O2 had been due to start on July 13 but he died just weeks before his much-awaited comeback tour.

Washington, Apr 9 : American singer Whitney Huston is countersuing her stepmother for 1.6 million dollars over mortgage loan payments, it has emerged.
The 45-year-old crooner claims that her stepmum Barbara Houston owes her the money for failing to make loan payments for the condominium she has lived since 1987, reports Fox News.
Barbara had sued the Grammy winner last year, claiming that she had reprehensively kept proceeds from dad John Houston''s 1 million dollar insurance policy after he died in 2003.
