London, Nov 6 : American actor Will Smith has revealed that the “most painful loss” he ever endured in his life was his divorce from first wife.

Smith, 41, had married girlfriend Sheree Zampino in 1992, and they both became proud parents of son, Trey, before they decided to end their relationship in 1995.

The actor now insists that he has learned the ups and downs of married life since tying the knot with actress Jada Pinkett Smith, and admits that he could have saved his first marriage had he tried harder.

"I was just chilling in my hotel and EastEnders was on TV. I didn''t even know what it was, but I literally could not stop watching it,” the Sun quoted Smith as saying.

"It was like a week''s worth of episodes in one. Before I knew it, all I had done was get room service and waste a whole afternoon watching this show I''d never heard of!

Oslo - US actor Will Smith and his wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, have been selected to co-host the upcoming Nobel Peace Prize Concert, organizers said Wednesday.

Among acts slated to perform at the December 11 concert are singer Wyclef Jean, disco queen Donna Summer, US country musician Toby Keith, and the duo Amadou & Miriam from Mali.

The concert is to be held the day after the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.

Washington, May 21 : `Hancock' star Will Smith will portray a real-life Hurricane Katrina hero in a new film written.

The film will be written and directed by The Rookie screenwriter John Lee Hancock, reports Contactmusic.

It will be about ex-Marine John Keller, who helped rescue more than 200 of his neighbours in Louisiana, New Orleans, when they were left stranded by the devastation of Katrina in 2005.
