Prime Minister of Jamaica promises to end unrestMr. Bruce Golding, the Prime Minister of Jamaica has denounced unrest in Kingston i. e. at the capital of Jamaica. The PM has promised that the criminals would not win, after some supporters of a drug lord came on to the streets to stop his arrest and created the unrest.

One of the police stations was set on fire by the supporters to create uneasy environment.

Then the authorities have declared emergency in some parts of the capital. This dispute was begun on last week when the authorities declared the arrest of the drug lord Mr. Coke and have said to extradite him to the US.

The supporters made barricades and warned to fight against the arrest. The capital city Kingston is under siege since the dispute began. Troops and local police have come under fire and the smoke was rising from the police station.

Authorities have said that the troops are moving swiftly to gat the situation under control.

The police are allowed to search without the search warrant and restrict the movements of the supporters as a state of emergency was called in the capital city Kingston and St Andrew districts, where the violation was started.
