Clark, Lee can’t help Australia in must-win Port Elizabeth one-day clash

Australia-CricketPort Elizabeth, Apr 13 : The Australian new-ball pair of Stuart Clark and Brett Lee have returned to the squad, but neither will be of any help to skipper Ricky Ponting in Monday’s must-win one-day clash here with South Africa.

Lee, who is in Port Elizabeth training with his IPL team, met Australian coach Tim Nielsen on Saturday and will join the Australian ODI squad on April 18 when they fly from Johannesburg to Dubai for a series against Pakistan.

Drinking coffee could reduce stroke risk for womenSydney, April 13 : Drinking coffee could lower women's risk of suffering a stroke, a new study has suggested.

The study of 83,000 women, conducted over a 24-year period by Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, revealed that women who drank five to seven cups of coffee a week were 12 per cent less likely to have a stroke than were those who downed just one cup a month.

However, German experts on stroke prevention in Berlin say that the benefit does not appear to come from caffeine, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

Woman finds burglar giving false ad of stolen goods!Melbourne, April 12 : An Aussie woman tracked down a burglar who robbed her of 60,000 dollars in property by placing a false advertisement for the stolen goods in a newspaper.

Upset at losing some expensive dinner sets, she placed an ad in The Courier-Mail''s Weekend Shopper pretending to look for a similar set.

According to news. com. au, one of the replies led her to a home where she recognised her dinner set and other property.
