"It is indeed a good break as filming can be boring all together and sports and boys always go together," said actor Ashish Choudhary, team member of Sohail Khan owned Mumbai Heroes.

The 20-20 cricket tournament has teams not only from Bollywood but also from Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Tamil cinema.

"Yes it has been hectic and tomorrow (Feb 12) I start promoting my film, which is releasing very soon. I think I'll get a break in March and then would only think of doing other things," Riteish told IANS on the sidelines of the semi-finals of Celebrity Cricket League held here Saturday.

Announcing the monthly sales figures Wednesday, the company said it had sold 173,514 untis (171,112 two-wheelers and 2,402 three-wheelers) last month, up from 165,152 units (two-wheelers 161,725 and three-wheelers 3,427) sold in January 2011.

Within the two-wheeler segment, TVS Motor's sales of motorcycles last month was lower by 2,113 units as compared to 67,721 units sold in January 2011.

It will be in consulation with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), said a top official.

"It is in the planning stage," SRM president P. Sathyanarayanan told reporters here Monday. "Once our satellite is launched, the talks with ISRO will progress. It may take around five or six months to come into shape."

The company's share prices came down to Rs. 244 Monday soon after the market opened up from the previous closing price of Rs. 262.90.

At the National Stock Exchange (NSE) the stock opened at Rs. 254.40 and then the price started going down.

Hearing the petitions filed by Murugan alias Sriharan, T. Suthendraraja alias Santhan and A. G. Perarivalan alias Arivu that their death sentence be commuted, the high court ordered an interim stay on the hanging pending disposal of the case.

Areva T&D restructuring to be over by early 2012

Chennai, Aug 6:Power transmission and distribution equipment company Areva T&D India Ltd said it is looking to complete its restructuring operations by early next year and is betting big on high capacity transformers for future growth.

"As per current estimates, the restructuring of our operations will be completed by early next year," the firm's managing director Rathindra Nath Basu told IANS.

The company is in the process of demerging its distribution business (medium voltage systems, equipment and related automation) into a wholly-owned subsidiary Smartgrid Automation Distribution and Switchgear Ltd.
