Indian real estate sector is witnessing a recovery and sales in major metro markets suggest that future looks bright for big and medium sized real estate developers.

Faridabad, Feb. 10: Minister of State for Labour and Employment Oscar Fernandes on Monday said the Government is seriously contemplating comprehensive amendments in the Factories Act, 1948 that would require the concerned agencies to come together periodically and deliberate upon the matters of Occupational Safety and Health.

While inaugurating the Regional Labour Institute at Faridabad in Haryana, Fernandes said the National Policy on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) has been approved by the Government, and is in its final stage.

The Union Cabinet on Thursday gave its consent for the setting up of a UNESCO regional centre for training and education in Biotechnology at Faridabad, on the outskirts of Delhi.

The revised budget for the project has been set at Rs 99.55 crore. 

Faridabad-based Richa Knits Ltd has informed that the company has acquired 49% shares of Moksh Leisure & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, a company running its restaurant under trade name "Le Moksh".
