New Delhi, Apr. 6: Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram will reply to a Election Commission notice today for allegedly offering poll sops during his Rajasthan visit for a security review.

On Sunday, the Election Commission issued a notice to Chidambaram for violating the model code of conduct.

The Commission received a complaint from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in this regard.

Anil Nair, a social activist has logged a complaint at the Vakola police station against the actor, his wife Twinkle Khanna and the event organizers.

Akshay Kumar said: "If I have hurt anyone's sentiments with my actions, I am sorry because I did not mean to."

According to the designer, his superb black and white collection was dedicated to the victims who lost their lives in the terror attack.

Hyderabad, Apr 4: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) in Andhra Pradesh suspended three of its rebel candidates on Saturday after they failed to withdraw their nominations for the coming elections despite requests made by party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Those suspended include former MLA M. Padma Devender Reddy, party youth wing president Jitta Balakrishna Reddy and senior party leader P Raghupati Rao.

Kathmandu, Apr 4: An Indian company and a Nepali firm have recently formed a joint venture company - USP Wind and Power System - in Kathmandu to tap wind to generate electricity.

"This company aims to tap wind to generate electricity in the Kathmandu Valley and remote districts. Wind energy projects can play a vital role in rural electrification," said Surendra Bahadur Singh, executive director of the joint venture.
