Jangipur (West Bengal), Mar 31: External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee has termed militancy as the biggest threat to world peace.

Mumbai, Mar 31: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Deputy Governor Rakesh Mohan has said that triad banking model - state-run, private and foreign banks - is working well in India.

Mohan said that the growth of each sector has spurred healthy competition.

Wagah border (Punjab)/ New Delhi, Mar 31: Consequent to the terrorist strike at the Police Academy in Lahore, the Border Security Force (BSF) has beefed up security along the Wagah border in Punjab.

Following the attack, senior BSF officials including Inspector General (Frontier) Himmat Singh visited the border posts to take a stock of the situation and held meetings with allied border security agencies including the customs and excise officers.

During his four-day visit, the Army chief will interact with senior military and civilian defence hierarchy and discuss various contemporary defence related issues.
