BJD to announce its seat-sharing proposals todayNew Delhi, Mar 25: The Naveen Patnaik-led Biju Janata Dal (BJD) will announce the seat-sharing arrangement with its new allies, the Communist Part of India (CPI), The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Wednesday for the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Orissa.

"The joint candidate list will be published tomorrow," senior BJD MP Pyari Mohan Mohapatra told reporters Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

According to the police, Mazumdar was attacked while returning back from his office to his home at Rajgarh road at around 10.30 p. m.

He was accosted by the criminal group while opening the gate of his residence and repeatedly shot at five times from a very close range.

The vehicle that the gunmen arrived in has been captured by the police.

A search operation has been launched for assailants.
