British security agencies take war on terror into cyberspaceLondon, Oct. 3: Britain's security agencies are fighting a covert war in cyberspace against extremist Islamist internet sites as part of a new anti-terrorist strategy, senior Whitehall officials have revealed.

As well running its own sites, the Government gives material support to groups that monitor and combat jihadist material on the web in an attempt to prevent indoctrination of young Muslims.

According to The Independent, the scheme is being introduced when the threat level is described as being "at the severe end of severe".

Muslims should fast between sunrise and sunset in the month-long religious festival.

When confronted on the show by Jane Beale (Laurie Brett), Masood said he was a "bad person". He said he found it difficult to fast because his job required him to sell food all day.

A fifth of Brit teachers ‘want canes back in schools’

London, Oct 3: Teachers in Britain, it seems, believe strongly in the saying ‘spare the rod and spoil the child’, for according to a new survey one in five educators of the country wants the cane brought back in schools.

The survey of 6,200 teachers by the Times Educational Supplement found that a fifth supported the right to use corporal punishment in extreme cases.

The poll revealed that 22 percent secondary teachers demand the revival of corporal punishment and 16 percent of the primary teachers demand it.
