Mumbai, Mar 14 : Celebrating his 44th birthday on Saturday, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan appealed people to exercise franchise in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

According to "Tobacco Atlas", which released on Monday (March 09), tobacco usage will kill six million people annually by 2010, and drain $500 billion from the worldwide economy that exceeds the total combined annual expenditure on health in all low and middle income nations.

The atlas reported that the tobacco industry has made the countries having less efficient public health plans and poor resources as their major areas of focus.

Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail, who play slum kids Latika and Salim, respectively, in director Danny Boyle''s "Slumdog Millionaire, would be appearing in cameo roles in ''Kal Kissne Dekha''.

Mumbai, Mar 13 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday said it has finalized seat sharing with the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra for the general elections.

Addressing media persons here, senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde said both parties have reached an understanding on seat-sharing arrangements.

"The BJP will contest on 26 seats while the Shiv Sena will try its luck on 22 seats in Maharashtra," he added.

Munde said the BJP agreed to give the three seats of Kalyan, Yavatmal and South Mumbai to the Shiv Sena.

Initially titled ''Heaven on Earth'', its name was changed to ''Videsh'' to suit Indian sensibilities.
