Narayanpur (UP), Jan 15 : The visiting Britain''s Foreign Secretary, David Miliband along with Congress party General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, visited Amethi on Wednesday for a first-hand experience of progressive rural India.

Both the leaders have undertaken a two-day visit to Amethi during which they interacted with the people of Narayanpur and Asadiyapur villages.

Miliband''s eleven-member delegation also accompanied the two leaders during their visit.

Narayanpur (Chhattisgarh), Aug 29 : Six personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), including an inspector, were killed in a landmine blast in Chhattisgarh''s Narayanpur District on Friday.

According to CPRF sources, the blast occurred around 11:00 a. m. as the CRPF team was heading towards Narayanpur from Konda for an anti-naxalite operation.

Search operations have been launched to nab Maoists who have claimed responsibility for the blast.
