New York, Apr 19 : Tom Wolfe''s 1968 classic "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" is being turned into a film.
The movie version of the book, which chronicles writer Ken Kesey''s LSD-dropping band of hippies known as the Merry Pranksters, is being done by American film director Gus Van Sant, reports The New York Post.
Rolling Stone reports that Van Sant, the Oscar-nominated director of "Milk," originally pictured Heath Ledger in the role of Kesey.
New York, Apr 18 : It seems Nick Cannon has got tired of rumours about wife Mariah Carey's pregnancy, as he has asked people to give their privacy a little respect.
When asked about the authenticity to the claims, Cannon just laughed them off and urged people to respect his privacy.

New York, Apr. 18 : Most of the Pakistani terror suspects, who were held at the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp, have been shifted back to Pakistan, the New York Times claims.
Out of 71 Pakistanis imprisoned at the infamous detention camp, 63 have been shifted back to Pakistan, while eight are still languishing there.
Abdul Rehman, Ali Abdul Aziz, Majid Khan, Saifullah Paracha and Khalid Sheikh Muhammad were amongst the eight Pakistanis who were still detained at Guantanamo Bay, the report said.
New York, Apr 18 : Two Domino''s pizza workers are facing charges over a YouTube video, in which one of them was shown making "special" sandwiches after stuffing cheese up his nose.
Michael Anthony Setzer, 32, and Kristy Lynn Hammonds-the woman who filmed him doing the sandwich stunt-have been charged with ''distributing prohibited foods'.
Hammonds, the 31-years-old resident of Taylorsville, N. C., is also a convicted sex offender, revealed cops.
New York, April 18 : Alaska Governor Sarah Palin admitted having considered abortion when she was pregnant with her fifth child.
The former Republican vice-presidential candidate made the confession in a speech heard by 3,000 people in Evanston, Indiana on April 16.
The 45-year-old revealed that she did think, for a moment, of terminating her pregnancy but deciding against it and having baby Trig, who turned one on April 18, was "the best thing that ever happened to her".
