Aberglaslyn Pass tops ‘Britain’s Best View’ poll

London, Nov 14 : Aberglaslyn Pass, a narrow gorge that the Glaslyn river has carved through Mount Snowdon, has been named by the National Trust website as the ‘Finest View in Britain’.

The wilderness has been voted as the best view in the UK out of a top ten of mountains, castles and beaches around the country, reports the Independent.

Second on the list was Borrowdale in Cumbria followed by St Michael''s Mount, Cornwall, in the third place.

Holywell Bay, Cornwall, was fourth and rounding off the top five was the white cliffs of Dover.

The top ten views as voted by the public on the National Trust website are:

1. The Aberglaslyn Pass (Snowdonia, Wales)
2. Borrowdale (Keswick, Cumbria)

Bizarre Kiwi race involves running with bulls'' testicles in the teeth!

London, Nov 14 : Gutsy Kiwis have shunned the traditional races with an egg and spoon in favour of running with bulls'' testicles in their mouths.

In one of the most bizarre competitions, the participants from the Shepherd''s Shemozzle in Hunterville, New Zealand had to run 50 metres with a bull''s testicle in their mouth.

This year''s winner, Josh Masters, said he had never carried a bull''s testicle in his mouth before – but he claimed that it was "not too bad".

"Best of all, they weren''t connected to anything," the Telegraph quoted him, as saying.

The competition was tarnished this year by a rumour that one spectator ate a raw testicle.

Ricky Gervais to appear in Sesame Street

David BeckhamLondon, Nov 14 : After David Beckham, Jessica Alba and Robert De Niro, comedian Ricky Gervais will be appearing on children''s TV show Sesame Street.

The 47-year-old star confirmed his appearance in the educational television series on his blog.

"I''ve been asked to do Sesame Street - there are some things you don''t turn down," BBC quoted him, as stating on his blog.

Gervais also revealed on his website that he has asked actors Danny DeVito, Michael Douglas and Al Pacino to appear in his comedy series Extras.
