The Miller Zoo Park has found a unique way to create Christmas presents from dried reindeer dung.

The zoo informed, “The Christmas ornaments handcrafted out of reindeer dung come with a certificate of authenticity from the Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington, Ill.”

The gifts in the form of ornaments which are being sold at the zoo gift shop for $5 are made up of dried chunks collected by zoo employees and then clear-coated or rolled in glitter.

Marketing Director Susie Ohley said, “Each one is unique. They are each a work of art.”

Reindeer which otherwise is quite a huge animal, dispose its waste products in small chunks.
