Rumors Float; Palm Treo To Be Sold By Rogers From Sept 17

Rogers seems to be on the high spirits as it has made a strong case for GSM networks in the Great White North. It has already got the iPhone 3G under its division, Rogers is constantly influencing the position of GSM phones in Canada of course in a good way.

Now, the latest rumors, which are floating around are that Rogers will pick up the Palm’s Treo Pro Windows Mobile Smartphone on 17th September.

Palm Treo seems to have come as a rescue for the company, which had been going down in the state of competition from quite sometime now.  This latest Smartphone has exclusive features which includes 3G (HSDPA), GPS, 2 mega-pixel camera, QWERTY keyboard, 320×320 touch screen, and microSD card slot.

The price tag at which Rogers might start selling the Palm Treo Pro from September 17th is still not disclosed. While AT&T will offer the same phone in $549, it seems that Rogers will also be approached by Palm Treo with a similar cost.
