Salman’s Upcoming Film ‘Veer’ Faces Fresh Trouble!

Salman’s Upcoming Film ‘Veer’ Faces Fresh Trouble!Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Veer’ has got another reason to be back in the news. The film has been charged for damaging the Historic fort of Amber.

An accident happened on the sets of ‘Veer’, when a 20 foot long wall collapsed injuring nearly 15 people.

Out of these 15, nearly seven injured people were taken to the nearby Sawai Man Singh Hospital, while all the others injured were rushed to a government hospital.

Speaking on this, Deputy Superintendent of Police Yogita Meena said, “The wall was not very high. Spectators were standing on its either side. As soon as Salman Khan appeared riding a horse, people jostled to see him and the wall could not take the pressure.”

Meena also said that the condition of one of the news channel cameramen was very serious.

It is learnt that the local police failed to keep the disruptive crowd under its control.

As a result, the Rajasthan High Court has issued a stay order on the filming of Veer in the fort. Moreover, the Jaipur bench of the court has issued notice to the state government to explain why the norms relating to protected historical monuments were not followed. The state government has to give its reply by March 3.

This stay order comes just after an initial complaint that was lodged.

Meanwhile, in New Delhi, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture Ambika Soni has indicated that an investigation would be done into the damage done to the four hundred year old structure.

Soni said, “The national commission on heritage sites has been set up. They will investigate the matter.''

The film Veer, directed by Anil Sharma has been penned by Salman Khan. The film is about the love story of a Rajput warrior played by Salman Khan and a Princess, played by Zarine Khan.

It may be recalled that Salman is already facing trial in the state in cases relating to poaching of black bucks.

Better luck next time, Sallu Miyan.
