Sony to bring new mobiles to take on Apple
Sony is planning to come up with various new devices and services to break Apple's dominance in the mobile market.
To compete with Apple's iTunes Store, iPhone, and iPad, the Japanese electronics giant, is now ready to launch some fresh-featured gargets.
According to reports from the Wall Street Journal, Sony is all set to reply back to Apple's claim of being the biggest mobile device company in the world.
It has planned to launch its Online Media Platform during this month. This will provide competition to Apple's iTunes Stores.
The iTunes Store provides App store, music, TV, movies and iBookstore under one roof. The App store also offers Apps for Apple iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
Gadget experts, meanwhile, believe that Sony will be coming up with applications which will provide loads of music options, large set of video content in its Online Media Platform. Sony's back-catalog of PlayStation games are also expected to be available here.
Apart from that, reports suggest that Sony is eyeing to bring an all new Smartphone loaded with PSP Go games. In a separate project, it is developing a mobile device which will be accessible as a notebook, an e-reader and PSP.
