SREI Infrastructure plans to raise Rs 4000 crore   SREI Infrastructure Finance Ltd is planning to raise Rs 4000 crore in this fiscal, to fund its growth plan.

The company intends to raise amount through debt and external commercial borrowings.

Further, the Kolkata-based company expects loan disbursements in the financial year to grew at the rate of 20% to Rs 7500 crore.

In a separate release, the equipment finance company has registered a decline of 38 per cent fall in its net profit for the fiscal ended March 31, 2009 to Rs 82.08 crore, against Rs Rs 131.94 crore during the fiscal ended March 31 last year.

However, the total income of the infrastructure non-banking finance company surged to Rs 842.46 crore during FY 2009, compared with Rs 732.84 crore of FY 2008.

On the standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs 50.36 crore, down 53 per cent compared to Rs 107.96 crore of a year earlier.

Apart from announcement of results, the company has declared a dividend of 10 per cent or Re 1 per share.
