SRK’s owned Red Chilles to invest Rs 100 crore for 3 films this year

Everyone knows that when it comes to business, Bollywood Megastar Shah Rukh Khan becomes very serious. Be it films or cricket, King Khan perhaps know how to earn profits. 

The latest: after delivering superhit OSO at the box-office, King Khan’s Red Chilles Entertainment is all set to come up with an investment of Rs 100 crore for rolling out three movies later this year. This whopping amount includes a Rs 60-crore film with computer-generated special effects and two medium-budget films, each with a budget of Rs 20-25 crore. 

Speaking on Rs 60 crore film project, King Khan said, “We will finalise the script, cast and director for the two medium-budget films by this month.”

The company, Red Chilles, also plans to come up with a film studio in India on the lines of the Hollywood studios. “This will be one-of-its-kind project in Bollywood. We will require huge space for this. We are yet to finalise the location, but it will not be viable to build this project in Mumbai,” Khan said.

Besides movies, the company also wants to make its presence in the field of TV production and TV commercial production. 

Meanwhile, speaking over cricket, he hailed Sourav Ganguly's selection for the upcoming Test and ODI series against Australia and hoped that the former skipper would score a hundred in the first Test at Bangalore.

"We always feel happy if Kolkata Knight Riders' players do well," said Khan. King Khan is the owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, of which Ganguly is the skipper.
