The Nano 3G has a large 2.6" screen and features a 4 page menu. According to the company officials it is a 3G-ready smartphone that sports gesture control ability.  It has the latest SNS, 2.0 version that aids in social communications via sites like Facebook, Myspace, YouTube etc.

Tagging on to the 'grounds of communication' the phone comes with a default instant chat messenger like GTalk, AIM, Palringo Chat which again aims at linking friends via unified messaging service. The phone has an Active Sync Google Push email service that allows a user to arrange their calendar and contacts.

Samsung permits downloading of 26 JAVA applications and games that pertain to weather forecasts and share market trends and especially for India the relevant Java-based apps are Vocablite, Sudoku, OC2ps, Shorthand, Rocketalk, MBA lite etc.

The phone has a 35MB internal memory which is expandable to 16GB. It also has 1.3 megapixel camera, music recognition, FM radio, video recording, English dictionary, mobile tracker, fake call and mobile prayer features. Experts claim it to be a value-for-money phone.
