Tata Would Think Deep before Investing In West BengalThe CEO of Tata Group, Mr. Ratan Tata has recently revealed that their firm shall be investing in the West Bengal project only if the state government shows no hostility towards it and they feel comfortable working there.

He said he couldn't comment on the new projects as of now. He merely suggested that firm has a number of investments lined up for the state but the only hitch is their problems with the government of the state.

He further added that since the Nano project, the state remains to be in their firms cherished memories, but the issues that they had to face there give rise to second thoughts for future business.

"There is a need for satisfying ourselves that there is no hostility towards us. When we feel that way, we will undoubtedly, like anywhere else, invest in the state", he revealed in the general meeting of the firm.

The Singur land dispute got all the negative publicity for the firm and they don't what to take any more chances with their reputation.

There was a lot of agitation they had to face by the leaders of the state, including Trinamool Congress chief Mamta Banerjee. They merely want to be cautious in the future for the interest of the firm.
