Chandrayaan’s Camera clicks pictures of Earth space

The Indian Space Research Organisation said on Friday that terrific shots of earth from space in black and white have been taken by the terrain mapping camera onboard India's first unmanned lunar spacecraft Chandrayaan-1.

In a statement issued by the space agency it said, “The camera was operated through a series of commands from the spacecraft control centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)'s telemetry, tracking and command network (Istrac) here. The images were received by the deep space network (DSN) at Byalalu.”

AQUOS 931SH Touchscreen Phone launched by Sharp through Softbank

Sharp, the well known Japanese cellphone maker recently announced the release of its latest 931SH mobile phone via Softbank. The new and exclusive 931SH touchscreen handset would popularize the already popular AQUOS-brand.

There are many exciting features of AQUOS 931SH such as 3.8-inch screen touch LCD display. This screen would be able to offer a resolution of 1024×480 pixels. Now Software can copy house key from its picture

A new and innovative technique has been developed by the security researchers, with which they can copy house keys just by using its picture as reference.

This technique has been developed by computer scientists at UC San Diego, and it needs no physical access to keys and only a fairly low resolution picture for the software to work. The scientist say that this technique has been developed by team with the aim to reveal to everyone that keys are not that secure as they are thought to be.

Preview of Windows 7 by Microsoft

The preview version of Microsoft’s Windows 7 was presented at PDC in Los Angeles earlier this week. Basically, Windows 7 by Microsoft is an upgrade or extension to Vista. Theoretically speaking, Windows 7 is the result of amendments and improvements done in Vista, which could not impress the users due to its dysfunctions.

Let us now focus on the features of Windows 7. The users would notice the changes done in the interface design that are mostly concentrated on functionality. Netflix streaming player for Mac now for public

The Hacking Netflix recently reported that the Mac version by Netflix of its streaming movie player has been opened into the public stage of beta testing. This player, which is based upon the Microsoft's Silverlight animation plugin can be tried by anyone now. As of now, the entire collection by Netflix is not available, however, more than 12,000 titles are already accessible and the company is constantly adding more content to its "Watch Instantly" section. By the end of this year, the service would be available to all the customers.

The number of authorized devices has been kept till six due to DRM restrictions. Furthermore, if the user chooses to opt in, then each device requires using Silverlight for the Watch Instantly playback.
