Toy company Lego may launch cell phone at Mobile World Congress next week

Toy company Lego may launch cell phone at Mobile World Congress next weekLondon, February 14: Danish toy company Lego is all set to launch a mobile phone, if online reports are to be believed.

Leaked on the Internet, the reports suggest that the slim cellular phone has a plastic casing made up of colourful lego bricks, which the user can change according to their mood.

When a user wishes to change the number keypad from blue to green, he/she can do so just by clicking a new piece of Lego, as if the user were constructing a Lego building.

A picture of the prototype mobile has also leaked on the Internet via the website boygeniusreport. com.

The phone, initially aimed at the US and Asian market, will include an MP3 player, walkie-talkie and digital camera.

The phone has been developed by Digital Blue, a company that specialises in children''s electronics, reports the Telegraph.

The phone appears to be an Alcatel-branded handset in the image, though the toy company denies that they have inked any deal.

The Lego mobile phone is expected to be unveiled at next week''s Mobile World Congress, the trade fair for the mobile phone industry. (ANI)
