Will take sanyas if charges are proved: Yeddyurappa
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa vowed to take political sanyas on one condition. He declares that if the Opposition leader H D Revanna (JD-S leader) proves all allegations against him, he will take retirement from politics.
It seems that this is a resignation season in the political genre. Earlier CWG OC chief Suresh Kalmadi has made a quit and recently former telecom minister A Raja resigned from DMK's propaganda secretary post on his arrest and now BSY is standing on the edge of resignation.
However, Revanna, claimed that he has documents regarding purchase of Rs one thousand crore worth of lands by Yeddyurappa and his family members in benami names in Shimoga district and in and around the city.
While Yeddyurappa disagree with any such allegations and said that his family members had not purchased any lands in benami names.
All these accusations are baseless and are manipulated to mislead people. He also challenged Revanna that if he posses any such documents then he should produce it before the Lokayukta, the court or him.
