Berlin - Scottish actress Tilda Swinton, 48, will head the jury at next year's edition of the Berlin Film Festival from February 5-15, organizers announced Wednesday.
"I'm pleased that the wonderful Tilda Swinton will be our jury president in 2009," said Dieter Kosslick, director of the Berlinale.
"Her commanding screen presence has made an indelible impression in contemporary, innovative filmmaking," he added.
Swinton has received numerous international awards for her work - most recently the 2008 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, for her role in the film Michael Clayton.
Tirana - The US actor with Albanian roots, James Belushi, was decorated Monday in Tirana by President Bamir Topi for taking care of his family heritage, the ATA news agency reported.
"You are a remarkable case we are proud of you," Topi said after handing the Honour of the Nation medal to Belushi in "gratitude to the man who ... inherited and preserved in the love for Albania and his Albanian descent."
A first-generation Albanian-American, Belushi admitted he was not sure "what I have done to deserve it - except that I have always been proud for who I am and where I come from."
London, Nov 12 : It has been more than a year since English singer Alesha Dixon split from her hubby MC Harvey, but she still does not have a man in her life.
Dixon, 30, was shattered when her hubby Harvey fathered a child by his co-star in ‘The Games’, Javine Hylton, but has learnt how to move on.
“I’ve moved on. I’m not sitting here hurting. It’s the past,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

The ‘Black Eyed Peas’ vocalist, who will be playing Saraghina, said that she deliberately replaced her habitual eating routine with greasy treats to gain those extra pounds, reports China Daily.
She said: “I''ve actually gained 10lbs! No, really - for the film, ''Nine''. Actually, 13 to be exact. I ate everything! Fish and chips. Everything fried - things I don''t normally eat.”
