Three persons were injured in a grenade attack in a road show in Baramula district.

Militants hurled a grenade at the road show of Mohammad Ashraf Ganaie at Braat-Kalaan in Sopore area at around 1.15 pm, said a police official, adding that the candidate escaped unhurt in the attack.

Ganaie is contesting the polls in National Conference ticket.

Condition of two of the injured is critical. Ganaie cancelled his further electioneering for the day after the attack.
