London, February 17: Amy Winehouse's father reportedly rushed to reach his holidaying daughter in the Caribbean over her boozy antics.

Mitch was said to have jetted to St Lucia only to find that the singer had collapsed and was a "shaking mess" as she was hurried to a hospital.

The `Rehab' hitmaker, who is battling her drug and alcohol addiction, had allegedly goofed up her drug- replacement medication.

She was later said to be recovering well and released from the hospital, but apparently "the booze has been flowing", reports the Sun.

Her cabbie dad had previously flown in to reportedly comfort his love-stricken daughter when her rugby "beau" Josh Bowman moved out of the island.

And now a source said: "He heard things weren't quite as rosy as during his last visit and thought he should return.

"She needs an eye on her in case she hits the hard stuff." (ANI)
