Bollywood actor Ashish Chaudhary lost his loving sister and brother-in-law in the recent Mumbai terrorist attacks.

Ashish’s sister Monica and her husband were among 40 other hostages killed at the Oberoi Trident Hotel in Mumbai.

The actor along with his family members had been maintaining a tense vigil outside the hotel ever since he came to know about the terrorist attacks.

But, the actor burst into the tears after hearing the shocking news.

His close friend said, “Ashish and his family had stationed themselves outside the Oberoi for the last three days hoping to see Monica walk out alive.”

On November 26, 2008, Monica had gone to Trident for dinner along with her husband and some friends, but unluckily, they were held hostages by the attackers. They were shot in the leg first and then the bullets pierced their heads.

The actor was in no condition to disclose anything more.

He was informed that the hospital authorities would hand over her body to the family only on Saturday.

Mumbai saw a daring terror attack where terrorists continued the rampage, killing at least 101 people and injuring more than 250 since Wednesday night. On target were high profile sights, including the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel, Oberoi Trident Hotel, Metro Theatre and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly Victoria Terminus) railway station.
