As far as pricing is concerned, Akshay Kumar seems to be giving stiff competition to both ‘King Khan’ and ‘Sallu’.

The Bollywood’s Khiladi will get Rs 1.5 crore for each episode of a reality TV show, which is expected to hit Indian screens by August his year.

The amount offered to Akki is more than what SRK is getting for the ‘Star Plus’ most willingly awaited reality show 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain.' Incidentally Salman Khan has been booked for Rs 89 crore for hosting 104 episodes of a reality show for Sony.

Akki has been roped in to do the desi version of Fear Factor with Bollywood actresses as partakers. He is ready to star in this reality venture as the show demands live stunts.

While talking to newspersons, a source said, “Akki is extremely kicked about the whole thing, since the show is all about daredevilry and he simply loves all that. Things will start rolling in a month or so.”

But the main point is not his selection but the reality that he will be breaking records of small screen compensations.

Akshay is not at all new to the television as he already has the experience of hosting a martial arts show for National Geographic some years ago.

For the producers Akshay’s spirit, inherent aptitude, obsession for adventure and his sensational stunts might have surely made him the most favored among the B-town stars to be the host of the ‘Fear Factor’ Indian version.
