Rome - Former Argentine striker Abel Balbo has quit the coaching job at struggling Serie B side Treviso after clinching a single point from four games, Italian media reported.
Luca Gotti, 41, Thursday took back the job he had left to Balbo, 42, in a controversial switch in late February.
Balbo first walked out on the team just minutes after starting his first coaching session. The eastern-Italian club confirmed Balbo as coach the following day, but no improvement came from his management. Treviso are currently second from last in the four-team drop zone with 11 games left.
"The results don't matter," Balbo was quoted as saying. "It's the lack of organization to makes me give up. The players are a very good group and are full of will, but I feel like I'm coaching an amateur team." (dpa)
