Drug manufacturer Ipca Laboratories Ltd has informed that the company has linked up with US based Heritage Pharmaceuticals Inc. with the aim to make and sell Propranolol HCI Oral tablets, used for cardiovascular treatment. 

Under the alliance, Ipca has got sanction from U.S. Food and Drugs Administration (USFDA) to manufacture and market the drug in 10, 20, 40, 60 and 80 mg strength in the US market.

According to the sources, the drug will be manufactured by Ipca and its sale will be carried by Heritage in the U.S. market. 

The Future of Nano was in shambles till a few days back and now when it has found its home, a Gujarati Company, Ajanta Manufacturing Ltd is all set to sweep the market with its new E-car called Oreva E. The small electric car will be priced at approximately Rs 1 lakh and is sure to give competition to Nano. The company is known for making electric bikes and is now venturing into manufacturing cars.

The number of cars on the road is increasing day by day. So is the competition between various companies.

Chris Buxton, Bentley Motors Regional Director (Middle East, Africa and India) said in a press meeting” There has been a slowdown in the global automobile market and we are expecting to compensate this slowdown, by increased demand in emerging market like India, China and Middle East”.

Ajanta group, makers of electric bikes and scooters under the ‘Oreva’ brand, is all set to roll out its own electric car (e-car) in the Indian market. 

The group announced to launch its own ‘Oreva Green’ car, which runs on electric fuel. 

Ajanta, which currently manufactures its bikes in Morbi in Gujarat, will soon be introducing its electric car from the same manufacturing plant. 

Moreover, Tata has also declared to shift ‘Nano’ car plant in Sanand village in Gujarat. Both the cars have their plants in Gujarat.

TATA group’s ambitious Nano car project seems to grapple in yet another controversy on the land acquisition issue. The land in Chharodi village is again proving to be disputable and the concerned farmer family is fighting a legal battle against Anand Agriculture University (AAU) over ownership issue.

The case was filed in 2006 in which the third generation of Devisinh Waghela family claimed over 1,453 acre of the total 2,200 acre of land that the state government had acquired from the university.

Mahindra Renault Pvt. Ltd. (MRPL), a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra and Renault S.A. of France, has received an additional export order of 500 GLSx Petrol Logans for South Africa. 

This is the second order, which takes the total order size to 1000 nos. The latest order comes soon after the successful dispatch of 200 Logans to the country in September.
