Dairy Products Being Recalled Over Suspicions of Traces of E-Coli
Amidst growing concerns that the products might contain traces of E-coli, as many as 2 cheese products manufactured by a South Australian firm have been recalled from all over the markets.
Recalled as a precautionary measure, as confirmed by the parent company B-d Farm Paris Creek, there have been no reports of any harms done by the two types of cheese so far.
"These products could represent a health risk", read a statement issued by the manufacturer on Wednesday.
The recall includes the Com'n Bear French-style camembert, 200g, which has been distributed nationally and carries best before dates of January 27 and January 28, and French-style brie, 200g, with best before date of January 22, which was distributed to a few South Australian retailers.
"There have been no report of any consumer issues with the product but B-d Farm Paris Creek is undertaking the recall because of its commitment to maintaining the highest possible product quality standards", the company said.
Customers are now being urged to return the products for a complete cash refund. Alternatively, they can also call 1800 334 829 for further information.
