Hamburg - Former SV Hamburg and Hansa Rostock coach Frank Pagelsdorf is to coach Dubai's Al Nasr, returning to the club he led briefly four years ago, it was reported Thursday.

Bild newspaper said Pagelsdorf, 50, was due to start his new post on Thursday.

The engagement came at short notice after the Pagelsdorf, who was dismissed by second-division Rostock in November, was on holiday in the United Arab Emirates.

The former Bundesliga player coached Al Nasr in late 2004 and 2005 after four years at SV Hamburg and a spell in charge of VfL Osnabrueck. (dpa)
