GM launches new version of Spark

GM launches new version of SparkGeneral Motors has launched new version of small car Spark, to implement its expansion plan despite unfavourable conditions of economic market under the impact of global financial crisis. The auto gaint launched new version of compact car, Spark, with price tag of Rs 3.27 lakh on Tuesday and announced to launch sedan, Cruze, and a mini car by the end of current financial year.

The new version of Spark is equipped with an integrated music system, refreshed interiors and many more modern features using cutting edge technology.
 
GM considers Indian market as a high potential market among the top five markets of the world. President and Managing Director of GM India, Karl Slym said, "With the kind of response we are getting from the domestic market, we expect around 10 per cent growth this year."
 
Vice-President of GM, Jonathan Browning said, "We have fixed the target of $1 billion sourcing from India by 2010 and it is well on track. India, with its robust economy, is one of the fastest growing markets for automobiles."
