According to World and Olympic champion Abhinav Bindra, if India wants to achieve Golden Boy ‘Bindra’ Wants Early Preparations For The Olympicssuccess, it should start preparations from now onwards for the 2012 Olympics.
 
Nothing but lack of preparation is what keeping India behind in achieving success at the global level in the sports arena, says Abhinav Bindra. Earlier on Friday Leader of Opposition, Lok Sabha, L K Advani met the Punjab shooter and wished him good luck Advani said that Bindra has made India proud and he has now became an inspiration for the young generation of the country.

After getting a rousing reception on arrival from Beijing, Bindra had met with President Pratibha Patil, Vice-President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Sports Minister M S Gill.

The 25 year old from Zirakpur, Punjab became the first Indian to win an individual gold medal at the Olympic Games and the first gold medal since1980 when the Men’s Field Hockey Team won the gold.
