Gujarat Gets Its First Green HospitalThe officials have unveiled Gujarat's first green building, a 150-bed multi-super speciality hospital, on Thursday.

The multi-super speciality hospital has been built and equipped at a total cost of 150 crore, and it would necessitate a similar sum for further growth.

Mr. Keyur Parikh, chairman of the hospital and interventional cardiologist, stated that the Care Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) has forwarded growth plans to increase the bed capacity to 450 beds.

Mr. Parikh stated that the hospital was planned and developed in order to endorse the green building idea.

As per reports, almost half of hospital's open space contains courtyards and gardens.

The building of the hospital also comprises sewage plants to reprocess water and rain-water harvesting pits.

The Managing Director of CIMS, Milan Chag disclosed that the medical expense in the hospital is 10% cheaper as compared to other hospitals.

The service offered by the hospital grades amongst the best in India.
