Hospitals fined for mixed-sex wards

Hospitals have to pay a fine of £250 per patient per day for breaking rules on mixed-sex accommodation. There were around 11,000 breaches in last one month.

The Government has revealed this fact in its recent statement and it has also informed that Yorkshire has seen the lowest number of breaches.

Andrew Lansley the Health Secretary has exposed a data of about 11,362 patients who were put in to the accommodation of mixed-sex during this December.

These patients will be forced to pay the amount. Mr. Lansley has also added that the breaches were not acceptable. He blamed the Labour towards covering of previous facts on the accommodation of mixed-sex. Labours have cleared that the Conservatives had plunged their promises toward the building of 45,000 brand new rooms in favor of the NHS.

Mr. Lansley has added that the accommodation of mixed sex was abolished but they never revealed the information to verify it. The area of North West made the maximum rate of breaching in the rules. And the lowest were at the Humber and Yorkshire.
