Hugh Jackman buys $21m pad in the Big AppleMelbourne, Nov 15 : Australian star Hugh Jackman has reportedly spent 21 million dollars on a Manhattan apartment.

The move clearly indicates that the ‘Kate & Leopold’ star is unaffected by the world economic crisis.

A spokeswoman for the actor confirmed that he had bought the palatial pad in one of New York''s most salubrious buildings, the Meier Towers.

Currently renting a house in Woollahra, according to Confidential, the ‘X-Men Origins’ actor plans to move his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and children Oscar and Ava to the Big Apple next year in a bid to start working on new Broadway musical ‘A Star Is Born’, reports the Daily Telegraph.

The apartment has a professional kitchen, a master bedroom, exercise, recreation and music rooms, a library and multiple terraces – and is complete with a double-height living room, according to reports. (ANI)
